Organization for Literacy Lambton

Services

The Organization for Literacy in Lambton supports the needs of individuals throughout Lambton County who are upgrading their literacy, math and basic computer skills. We work in partnership with agencies that provide employment opportunities. We provide extensive children's programs, including after school tutoring programs for reading and math (grades 1-7), Reading Activity Packages, Family Fun Math, Ready Set School Summer Camp and Give A Book and Take A Book program.

Volunteer Roles

We are Always looking for volunteers in the following areas:

- Trained tutors in the Adult One-to-One program or Children's literacy programs.
- Members of a Promotions Committee.
- Support with general office duties and large projects.

Our programs are available throughout Lambton County.
