With nearly 1 in 2 Canadians expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, cancer affects us all — but it’s something we can face together. Daffodil days is your chance to show those affected by cancer in our communities that they’re not alone.
By volunteering for a minimum of 2 hours this April, you can help fund Canada’s most promising research, vital support services for patients and their families, and other important work that could change the future of cancer.
Volunteers are asked to register for a minimum of 2 hours on one of the available days and locations in Sarnia Lambton.
Volunteers will stand or sit (depending on the site) for their shift and take donations for the Canadian Cancer Society
Volunteers will give a daffodil pin to donors.
Volunteers will be asked to be polite, kind, and able to be sociable. You will be working with the general public.
Volunteers can sign up with friends and family.
Note: some locations will also have a Debit machine (training will be provided)
