Are you an energetic person looking for something to do this summer?  Do you enjoy working with children?  If you are ready to make a difference in the life of a child or youth, this opportunity is perfect for you!

Details

Start Date: 2023-07-17
End Date: 2023-07-21
Length of Commitment: One week (Monday- Friday)
Time Commitment: 90 minutes (1 shift a day) to 3 hours (2 shifts)
Total Days Needed: 6 days (one hour orientation on 07-16-23)
Minimum Age Required: 15
Training Required: Mandatory one hour orientation on 07-16-23.
Training Provided:
Skills Required: Must be energetic and willing to run, must love working with children, must have patience. Preference to those that can commit to the full length of the program but willing to work with the volunteer to schedule for times you are available.
Activities: Volunteers will walk alongside children as they learn to ride a bike. Running will be required as riders become more skilled.

Additional Information: This program has a 75-80% success rate of teaching people ages 8+ with disabilities to ride a two wheeler.
