Volunteering in Sarnia-Lambton

VOLUNTEERING: A Great Way To Grow

Storytelling Volunteer

Our seniors have life experiences and stories in their memory bank that are worth preserving for generations to come.  VON will provide storytelling volunteers with a set of questions.  They meet with a client once a week for eight to ten weeks asking questions and recording the answers.  They will then compile the questions and answers into a binder to present to the client.  Resources and training are provided.

Puppeteer for a Cause!

Family Counselling Centre is in need of volunteers to join their Kids on the Block Program. Learn to puppeteer and present skits that provide youth in Sarnia with lessons on inclusion, prevention, and safety. No experience necessary. Join the fun today!

Special Event Volunteers

Volunteers needed for Juke Box Challenge held each March. We need outgoing, proactive and organized volunteers to join our committee, help plan & work on the night of the event. Don’t want a long term commitment? That’s okay because we need many “night of” volunteers. If this interests you, please give us a call or send us an email. There may also be other times of the year when you could help. Let’s talk and explore possibilities.
