BINGO VOLUNTEER
Bingo Volunteers -shift are 2 1/2 hours and are usually 2 times a months – shifts can be between Monday to Monday from 9 am – 10 pm.
You would assist with cleaning up tables after customers leave, assist with counting players, greet and thank them for attending.
We send out shifts every 2 months.

Kidney Foundation of Canada – Sarnia Lambton Chapter
The Kidney Foundation partners with Jackpot Time to raise funds for our programs.
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to volunteer at Jackpot Time (825 Upper Canada Dr, Sarnia), and represent The Kidney Foundation at the site, performing duties such as clean-up and handing out ballots, and sharing information about our organization to the guests.
Volunteer Duties:
- Provide great customer service and be a customer ambassador. Welcome customers at the main entrance and thank them for supporting Kidney Foundation and assisting with doors.
- Share information on games, programs, and promotions, answer questions etc. Circulate in Cabinet Game area to engage with customers when appropriate.
- Assist with promotional activities as requested by the operator (e.g., handing out ballots or prizes).
- Support approved charity awareness initiatives from your charity (e.g., displays, brochures, giveaways).
- Help with light clean-up, deliver food and non-alcoholic beverages, return trays to the kitchen, and assist with bingo winner call-backs (training provided).
Location: 825 Upper Canada Dr, Sarnia ON N7W 1A3 (In-person role; preference for volunteers residing in Sarnia)
Age Requirement: 18 years or older
Time Commitment: We ask volunteers to commit to at least two shifts a year. Please note that when a volunteer misses a shift, this results in a loss of funds for The Kidney Foundation.
Dress Code: Golf shirt provided (must be worn every shift); Black or dark pants; comfortable closed-toe shoes (Not permitted: denim, tank tops, sweatpants, yoga pants, shorts, skirts, hats, or clothing with bright patterns or excessive wear.)
Training: 2-hour online training required and a shadowing shift.

Jackpot Time is a gaming that has been serving the Sarnia community for over 30 years and offers a variety of gaming options, including bingo and electronic gaming machines. The Kidney Foundation has been approved as a charity to benefit from the Charitable Gaming at Jackpot Time. The funds raised by Jackpot Time will assist with The Kidney Foundation’s Short-Term Financial Assistance Program, providing financial relief to individuals living with kidney disease.

Bingo Volunteer
Jackpot Time Bingo in Sarnia is a supporter of the VON. Each month we provide volunteers to serve the patrons at one or two Bingos. We are currently in need of two volunteers to represent VON by serving at these Bingos. Training will be provided.
Administrative Office Support Volunteer
Administrative Office Support volunteers needed to assist with a variety of administrative tasks.
Assist our clientele by answering phones and directing calls to the appropriate department. Filing, copying, stuffing envelopes, data entry and various duties as needed. Some roles require intermediate computer skills, while others require good organizational skills and being detail-oriented. Tasks are variable based on deadlines.
Bingo Volunteer
Lambton Elderly Outreach is currently looking for people to aid in their fundraising efforts through Bingo.
Volunteering for BINGO is so easy! Gone are the days of being a ‘runner’ because everything is done electronically so that all that is involved is clearing tables and promoting LEO. A short 30-minute training session is required and 2 hours of your time (hours are flexible) which provides the organization with BINGO shares. It’s a fantastic fundraiser!
Bingo sessions occur two (2), to three (3) times a month for two (2) hours slots.
No handling of cash is required.
Dress code is in effect as per OLG, and OCGA regulations. Black pants and we will provide a golf shirt.
Come out and chat with the players and enjoy time with the other volunteer at the session.
Volunteer Transportation
Transport clients to medical appointments, social engagements, and to do shopping/errands. A mileage reimbursement is offered.
REWARDS!
As a volunteer in this program you will be providing a needed service and assistance to clients that otherwise would not likely get out. You will have conversation and a feeling of giving back.
Volunteers use their personal vehicle to transport clients, and are reimbursed: mileage is calculated as a return trip from the client’s home to their destination and back.
Requirements:
- Valid ‘G’ license held for minimum of 2 years
- Clean driving record, driver’s abstract required
- Satisfactory criminal record check
