ACT II provides supportive services for youth through various performing, visual, expressive, and musical arts-based programming. It provides youth with the opportunity to develop an increased sense of self-worth and belonging through a youth-engaged expressive arts model.
ACT II is of no cost and incorporates skill building using Rebound’s child & youth professionals, in conjunction with trained adult allies from the arts community. ACT II succeeds in helping youth develop emotional and social strengths, with a focus on youth facing barriers, including those who identify as 2SLGBTQ+, BIPOC, and those facing mental health challenges.
ACT II hold rehearsals in June, July, August, and September, held three times a week in the summer before show week. It is open to youth aged 8-17 for the cast and open for ages 8-24 for production crew roles.
