Length of Commitment: Start date to be determined. Each session runs 8 weeks, various times throughout the year
Time Commitment: 3 hours a week for 8 weeks

Training Provided: Yes, You will need to be onboarded as a volunteer and complete specialized training with third party.
Skills Required: As a volunteer you will be acting as a Simulated Person (SP). Definition: A person who portrays a patient (simulated patient), family member, or health care provider to meet the objectives of the simulation; a simulated person may also be referred to as a standardized patient/family/health care provider if they have been formally trained to act as real patients in order to simulate a set of symptoms or problems used for health care education, evaluation, and research. Simulated persons often engage in assessment by providing feedback to the learner (Palaganas, et al., 2012)
