We provide support services for persons with an intellectual disability to become more active members within their community.
Welcomes volunteers:Recreational events (bowling, swimming, bus trips,baseball, skiing, dances)Residential services (grocery shopping, companionship, community outings, home maintenance).Employment services (sheltered workshops, community employment, job coaching, life skills programs).Children’s and respite services (swimming, community outings, crafts, games, summer camp).Community Friends (developing a one-to-one friendship with a person who has an intellectual disability).

A community Friend is a volunteer who provides support to children and adults. Each child or adult is paired with a volunteer who shares the same interests. Parent/caregiver receive a short break while their son/daughter enjoys a community based activity with the volunteer.Read More
