Length of Commitment: 3 Year Term
Time Commitment: 5 – 6 hours per month
Total Days Needed: two 2 hour meetings per month for 9 of 12 months per year plus occasional adhoc attendance to fundraising events
Minimum Age Required: 25
Training Required: Education and/or experience related to the skill areas listed in call for applications
Training Provided: Board orientation and on-boarding, ongoing board education on CLSL services, governance functions and accountabilities – i.e. risk, finance, HR, etc
Skills Required: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Legal/Law Information Technology Communications/Marketing/Public Affairs Health and Social Service Care Delivery, Quality, and Performance Finance, and Accounting Governance/Strategic Planning Human Resources and Organizational Development Risk & Business Management
Activities: Board and Board committee meetings, board education, promotion of CLSL in the community
Transportation: Yes, use their own transportation to volunteer hours
