Volunteering in Sarnia-Lambton

VOLUNTEERING: A Great Way To Grow

Technology Savvy Volunteer

Fairwinds Lodge is looking for a volunteer who is familiar with various forms of technology such as cellphones, I-pads, computers and is interested in assisting seniors in our community with learning about these devices. Volunteers would be responsible for meeting one on one with residents to help answer their questions regarding their technological devices. Volunteers must be comfortable working with little supervision and communicating with seniors.

Volunteer Visitor

Visit a lonely and isolated senior on a weekly basis.  You can take them out or stay in and visit.  Our clients have lived productive lives but now find themselves alone and staring at the walls, unable to get out without a friend.  They have much to offer someone who takes time to listen!

Weekend Bingo Caller

Are you available for an hour on Saturday afternoons? Do you enjoy working with Seniors? Join us! We would love to welcome you to the Fairwinds Lodge Volunteer Team! Contact tina.debakker@siennaliving.ca for more information.

There may also be other times of the year when you could help. Let’s talk and explore possibilities.
